10 Jan Helping our injured wildlife
The Australian bushfires are still devastating our nation, affecting our people, our communities and our precious wildlife.
Many of our dedicated employees have asked what they can do to help and many have already started.
Employees may drop off part-used stock and medical supplies that would otherwise be discarded to help injured and sick wildlife.
Each Monash Health campus will have a drop-off point for these supplies.
|Monash Medical Centre||Anaesthetic Hut, Level 3|
|Dandenong Hospital||Site Administration|
|Casey Hospital||Theatre Reception|
|Moorabbin Hospital||Back of Recovery Area Theatre|
|Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre||Day Surgery Unit|
These supplies will be donated to organisations that have asked for such donations. The Australian Veterinary Association is working with DHHS and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning to ensure vets are provided with supplies to care for injured animals.
Thank you to all employees who are doing their best to help the many injured animals with the donation of medical supplies.
Your support and generosity is making a difference to save and treat injured animals.
Please contact Kym Forrest, acting Chief Operating Officer or Dr Anjali Dhulia, Chief Medical Officer for any queries.
